Introducción
En la entrada de hoy veremos cómo fusionar distintas imágenes tomadas en distintos momentos y en diferentes ubicaciones para que queden como si solo de una toma se tratase.
Para ello nada más que utilizaremos Photoshop y no necesitaremos de paneles ni programas externos o asociados a este programa.
Fase 1: Preparación de las imágenes en Camera Raw.
Este proceso se basa en lo mismo que hacemos cuando preparamos nuestras tomas diurnas. Lo que buscamos es preparar las imágenes para que estén lo más planas posible, es decir, buscamos reducir su contraste.
Suelo
Al suelo le vamos a aplicar un perfil de color Flat o Plano, corregiremos el perfil de lente y levantaremos exposición. Según las necesidades de la imagen deberemos bajar sombras y negros (sin llegar a empastarlos) y subiremos altas luces y blancos. Recordad que al no necesitar el cielo, si en él nos sale algún blanco puro no debemos preocuparnos, ya que en la siguiente fase lo desecharemos.
También debemos aplicar reducción de ruido en la pestaña de detalles y en ajustes básicos añadir algo de claridad.
Cielo
En el cielo, a diferencia del suelo, aplicaremos un perfil de color Adobe Estándar y, como en el caso anterior, corregiremos el perfil de lente y aplicaremos los ajustes básicos que requiera la imágen, que por norma general tratan de subir sombras y bajar altas luces.
Fase 2: recorte para la fusión y ajustes básicos.
Esta fase es la que decidirá si haremos un trabajo de calidad o simplemente un procesado de aficionado.
Primeros pasos: selección área de recorte y orden de las capas.
Al seleccionar el área de recorte lo que hacemos es decirle al programa que parte de nuestra imagen queremos que nos aisle a través de la máscara de capa.
Para poder seleccionar este área nos iremos a la herramienta Selección Rápida:
Deslizaremos el cursor sobre el cielo con un tamaño aproximado de 7px, el programa automáticamente delimita el área, pero recuerda que hay que darle un repaso, como por ejemplo entre las piernas del sujeto de la imagen.
En este caso seleccionaremos la herramienta Varita Mágica, ubicada en la misma pestaña que Selección Rápida, solamente hay que hacer clic en el botoón derecho:
Clicaremos manteniendo pulsada la tecla Shitf/Mayus de nuestro teclado en el área que nos quede por seleccionar y, acto seguido, crearemos la máscara de recorte en la parte inferior derecha de nuestra pantalla:
Espera, espera… ¿No queríamos esa imagen para usar su suelo? ¿Y ahora qué? Tranquilos, no hay que volver a empezar, simplemente debemos seleccionar la máscara de recorte y realizar el atajo CTRL/CMND+I, de ese modo invertimos la vista:
A continuación debemos reordenar las capas para que quede el suelo por encima de la capa en la que tenemos el cielo y componer nuestra imagen:
¡LISTO! Ya tenemos nuestras dos imágenes fusionadas. La primera parte importante esta lista, conseguir que queden bien delimitadas e integradas. Pero ahora toca el retoque, los ajustes para darle nuestro estilo y que ambas imágenes queden bien editadas y fusionadas.
Este proceso de edición aconsejo hacerlo alternando los procesos entre suelo y cielo, de modo que los ajustes que vayamos realizando vayan siendo a consciencia para que sean compatibles entre sí.
Primer Ajuste al cielo
El primer retoque que haremos en el cielo será un ajuste de Curvas, creando la famosa «S», bajando las sombras y subiendo las luces:
Primeros ajustes al suelo: equilibrio de color y exposición
El primer apso que vamos a realizar en el suelo serán con la herramienta Equilibrio de Color, para ello desplazaremos los deslizadores hacia el Cián, Magenta y Azul. Lo que buscamos en este proceso es crear una simbiósis entre el suelo y el cielo, dando esa atmósfera nocturna.:
El siguiente paso será aumentar el contraste y la nitidez del suelo a través de los ajustes de Exposición, para ello arrastraremos los deslizadores de exposición y corrección de gama hacia la derecha y el de desplazamiento hacia la izquierda:
En este punto ya observamos una imagen sólida y podemos observar que va siendo un proceso equilibrado. En este punto saltamos a la siguiente acción, intensificar la luz que contamina el cielo (si no puedes con tu enemigo, únete a él)
Creación de luz en cielo y suelo
Sobre la capa del cielo vamos a crear una capa en blanco que llamaremos Luz Fuerte. ¿Por qué? Porque el modo de fusión que usaremos será el de Luz Fuerte. Con la herramienta cuentagotas nos situaremos sobre esa zona del cielo que tenemos contaminada de luz, clicamos sobre ella y en la selección de color lo acercamos a los blancos, recuerda que queremos simular luz, por tanto, ha de estar cerca del blanco.
Como tenemos localizada la fuente de contaminación, con un pincel con el color que hemos seleccionada clicamos reiteradas veces con un pincel cuyo tamaño crezca progresivamente:
¿PERO ESTO QUÉ ES? ¡Tranquilos! Hay que suavizar esos toques de luz, ¿verdad? Pues nos vamos la pestaña de Filtro > Desenfoque > Desenfoque Gaussiano y le aplicamos un valor de entre 160 y 240 (para gustos colores):
Y para hacer aún más realista este proceso, podemos filtrar es contaminación al suelo. Para ello duplicaremos la capa Luz Fuerte (CTRL+J) y la subiremos por encima de la capa suelo y los demás ajustes, bajando su opacidad a valores cercanos al 50%:
Y llegamos al último paso de esta fase tan importante. En este paso resaltamos aún más la Vía Láctea, lo que haremos será duplicar la capa de ajuste de Curvas, y sobre la capa en blanco realizamos el atajo de Invertir (CTRL+I), seguidamente, con un pincel en color blanco y con distintas opacidades pintamos la Vía para que quede potenciada. Pero va a quedar demasiado fuerte, por lo que en esa capa que hemos invertido aplicaremos un desenfoque gaussiano cercano al valor anterior:
Fase 3: combinación y viñeteo
Estamos en la penúltima fase, toca combinar las capas de cielo y suelo, para poder viñetearlas en Camera Raw y que sea sobre una capa que contenga los ajustes que hemos ido realizando. Para conservar el proceso y no perder nada de lo que hemos hecho, debemos seleccionar desde la capa suelo hacia el ultimo ajuste que le hemos aplicado, duplicar (CTRL+J) y clicar botón derecho del ratón seleccionando combinar capas. Con el conjunto del cielo realizamos lo mismo:
Fase 4: Exportación
Ya tenemos nuestra imagen terminada, realizamos el atajo CTRL+MAYUS+ALT+W para ir a Exportar Cómo , seleccionamos la proporción de píxeles que queramos y listo.
