Bienvenidos a mi primera entrada en el blog, mi nombre es Pedro Cazorla y vamos a ver una guía formativa acerca de lo que para mi han sido dos años de aprendizaje, además veremos cuales han sido los puntos fuertes de cada canal y cómo me han influido. Creo que no hay mejor manera de empezar un proyecto que contando de dónde vengo y, poco a poco, hacia dónde voy.
Esta guía hay que entenderla como una pirámide en la que el primer perfil nombrado sea la base y el último la cúspide. De este modo, adquirimos la formación necesaria para la base con conceptos básicos de configuración, composición y procesado para, en poco tiempo, dejar de ser aficionados y convertirnos en fotógrafos que realicen trabajos de calidad profesional.
Antes de empezar quiero aclarar que el orden está un pelín alterado cronológicamente, ya que mi afición con la fotografía empezó intentando fotografiar la vía láctea y los conocimientos previos a poder hacer astro-paisaje los desconocía por completo.
Inevitablemente tuve que seguir este plan para poder hacer las cosas bien:
En el 5º puesto tenemos a Runbenguo, durante tres meses estuve viendo varios vídeos semanales sobre edición en lightroom, los cuales, la gran mayoría eran de Rubén. La capacidad de sintetizar la información de un programa y su carácter amigable hizo que la adaptación de pasar de un editor móvil a un editor avanzado de ordenador fuese mucho más sencilla.
Actualmente Rubén continúa realizando tutoriales y reviews pero además tiene lotes privados en los que explica a fondo y a todos los niveles el uso de un programa. Además, ha comenzado un nuevo proyecto formativo a través de Instagram.
Con Runbenguo conseguí darle ediciones personales a mis fotos diurnas.
En 4º lugar tenemos a Processing Raw (Antonio Prado), su peculiar sentido del humor y su amplio conocimiento de softwares de edición crean el espacio de trabajo idóneo para comenzar a realizar trabajos mucho más elaborados. Con su guía de planificación, toma y procesado de Vía Láctea, aprendí a configurar mi cámara y a captar mis primeros astro-paisajes.
Y aunque al principio todo me sonaba a chino: máscaras de capa, máscaras de luminosidad, panel de TK…, finalmente acabé adaptándome a estos nuevos conceptos y adquirí una soltura y un flujo de trabajo que comenzó a ser competente.
Si no hubiese sido porque me encontré con la guía (prácticamente recién subida) de Antonio, estoy seguro de que la fotografía no me habría enganchado como lo ha hecho.
Yo, que no trabajaba máscaras ni sabía instalar un panel nuevo en photoshop, me encontraba algo limitado en mis procesados fotográficos. Es así como pasamos al siguiente puesto:
Encontramos a Javier Martínez Morán, a quien en realidad encontré a través de instagram y que desde un principio sirvió de referente, pues sus ediciones me fascinaban y, continúan fascinándome. También tiene perfil en YouTube y gracias a su vídeo de procesado de panorámica de Vía Láctea conseguí dar un «saltito» en la fotografía nocturna para poder realizar esquemas de luz más compensados y atractivos.
Si has leído hasta aquí, debes saber que me has acompañado durante 1 año y medio de mi formación. Y fue en enero de este año cuando decidí saltar a la formación privada. Así pasamos a los dos últimos puestos de esta pirámide. Nos encontramos con fotógrafos de larga trayectoria, ya sea en la fotografía o en el trabajo con softwares de edición.
Vale la pena hacer una puntualización, mi consejo es que aprendas a realizar los procesados y, con el tiempo, aplicando tu propio criterio, conseguirás crear tu propio estilo y tus fotos dirán algo distinto al resto.
En segundo puesto tenemos a José David Riquelme, quien ofrece formaciones privadas en grupos reducidos y te enseña lo que debes saber, independientemente del nivel que tengas, para realizar fotografías espectaculares de arco de vía láctea. Yo fui a su primer taller formativo confiando en que tenía mucho que aportar y, así fue.
A estas alturas ya os podéis imaginar que mi estilo favorito es el astro-paisaje, ¿no?
Toca hablar del primer puesto, el que revoluciona mi procesado y me hace entender la fotografía como una experiencia más creativa si pudiera ser. En este puesto nos encontramos con Juan Pablo de Miguel, ofrece formaciones privadas en grupo o individuales, organiza viajes por todo el mundo y te acompaña para que te vuelvas con las mejores fotos posibles. Conseguí en sólo 8 horas revolucionar mi procesado, conocer los conceptos y el flujo de trabajo que necesitaba saber para mejorar tanto mis fotografías de paisaje diurno y nocturno.
Por último, quiero hacer una mención especial a algo que engloba la pirámide, los referentes, aquellos que por los logros que alcanzan o el camino que siguen para ello, nos hacen verlos como mentores.
Hablamos en este caso de Horacio Cabilla, la actitud rockera y luchadora de Horacio, su desinterés en compartir conocimiento desde el primer día, de hacer críticas constructivas y de ayudar, hizo que desde antes de conocer a los mencionados anteriormente, ya empezase a cultivar raíces fotográficas en mi mente. Tengo claro que las decisiones que tomo, beben de su influencia.
