¿Dónde ver el atardecer en Cabo de Gata?
El mejor sitio, sin duda, es toda la zona del Faro del Cabo. Mucha gente, acostumbra a no ver más allá del Arrecife de las Sirenas, pero si andas unos cuantos metros hacia delante, te toparás con la cala de Punta Baja.
Desde Punta Baja tienes vistas panorámicas de casi todo el Cabo, con una posición privilegiada para ver el Sol esconderse a la derecha del faro, que se encuentra ya dando señales de luz a los navegantes y que se encuentra sobre el famoso Arrecife de las Sirenas.
¿Qué hacer en Cabo de Gata de noche?
Una vez se ha escondido el sol, toca cenar, cargar pilas y poner rumbo hacia la zona de San José, para visitar la «el Submarino Petrificado», una formación rocosa que simula la silueta de un submarino. Las primeras noches de la temporada, la Vía Láctea asoma a partir de las 00:00 de la noche, conforme se adentre el verano, no hará falta esperar y nada más anochecer comenzará a ser visible el centro galáctico.
Para los más escrupulosos con los caminos de tierra y costa, tenemos en pleno núcleo urbano, en el pueblo de El Pozo de los Frailes, un precioso molino, en perfecto estado de conservación, que nos permite visualizar el arco completo de la Vía Láctea.
